It’s that magical time of year again when the Town square of Torrevieja is transformed back in time thanks to the locals whom each year build the most amazing representation of the scene from Bethlehem situated right in front of the Central and main Church (Inmaculada Concepcion). The Towns belen is a must see and a very important part of the Christmas Spanish culture.

The Torrevieja Belen receives hundreds of visitors each year due to its beauty and fine attention to detail.  The Belen is tastefully lit up at night with Christmas lights adding to the whole festive spirit. The finely crafted models are truly fascinating displaying nativity scenes and an insight on daily life in Bethlehem back in the time of BC.
